Masterson Station

This is our dog park, well its the one in our neighborhood.  We hardly ever visit this park tho, because sadly its just two big open fenced fields, there is nothing special about this park and we always seem to meet a mean human while there.  There is so much more that Lexington could do to their parks.  We have tried to join in on the “yearly” meeting that the “Friends of the Dog Park” has, but it is just a bunch of drama and they never get anywhere positive with it.  😦

Type of Park: Fenced Off Leash Park

Surface: over an acre and just grass (mud when it rains)

Stimulating Activities: nothing, a few trees to pee on

Cooling: finally water has been put inside park, but they are at the other end of the park so you have to walk all the way to the back to get water.  A few trees on one side, other side HAS NO TREES, NONE for the huge acre plus area.

Separate Areas: 2 sides, neither are designated (which causes drama)

Greenage: Waste station at entrance  and a trash can located in the middle of park.  Make sure and bring bags!

Human Comfort: 2 benches for the entire over an acre park (both sides are like this)

Location: Located past fair grounds in Masterson Station Park

Maintenance: no lights, open dawn to dusk

Membership: free to public

Memorial Day Weekend

We had a pretty awesome day today!  Mom and Dad took us to this new place with lots of things to sniff.  Mom goes crazy with the picture taking, it takes forever to walk around.

Ossian & Koda

Thanks for visiting our blog!  Be sure to follow us on Instagram for all our wonderful travels!

Ossian at the farmMy name is Ossian (full name – Ossian Moose Gibson)

I am a 6  year old St. Bernard.  I love being petted and getting all of the attention! My favorite humans are Mommy, Daddy, Nanny, and Momma Broady, or anyone else that lets me lean against them and will pet me.  My best friends are Koda (my Husky Mix sister) and Beanie, the apple of my eye whom literally gets all of my lovin’.  I love swimming, jumping off the dock, running around, and most of all taking naps.

Koda BellMy name is Koda (full name – Koda Nelhybel Gibson)

I am a Husky Mix, almost 8 years old.  I love Daddy,Mommy, and specially Daddy. Wait, where’s Daddy?!?!? My favorite things to do are go swimming, steal Ossian’s toys, and bark at random sounds.  This is my house, and I WILL protect it! I also like to chase things, like bunny rabbits, groundhogs, cats, and birds.  Ossian may be bigger than me, but I’m in charge!
