  • Microchip (update information online)
  • Updated I.D. Tags/GPS (Get a GPS Whistle)
  • Current Photos (of course you have these on your phone! :-))
  • Current Vaccinations (Make sure you have all the vaccines that are needed for the place you are traveling…i.e. Influenza or Lepto Vacc)

 

Emergency Kits

  • Gauze Pads/Bandages
  • Antibiotic Meds/ointment
  • Benadryl
  • Tweezers
  • Scissors
  • Hydroxide peroxide
  • Cotton balls/swabs
  • Cold pack
  • Extra meds
  • Extra leash and collar
  • Care Credit Card (in case of an emergency)
  • Thermometer
  • Nail Clippers
  • Poop Bags

    Great tips for traveling with dogs. I don’t see a dog crate or seatbelt, we bring both and all our pets, even house rabbit ride in crates that a belted in. Seat belts save lives, human and animal. Thanks again for picking this topic and providing such a great list.
